FLORAEX™ Natural Disinfectant
Project Description
Our project is a startup developing three specialized natural hygiene products for the food sector, designed to improve safety, reduce microbial contamination, and offer more sustainable alternatives to conventional chemical-based solutions.
The first product is a natural disinfectant for food-contact surfaces, developed to support hygiene in food factories, commercial kitchens, and processing environments. It has demonstrated up to 99.99% microbial kill under tested conditions.
The second product is a natural fruit and vegetable wash, designed to help clean fresh produce and reduce surface contaminants in a safer and more responsible way.
The third product is a natural wash for raw poultry, developed to help reduce surface microbial load and improve handling safety during food preparation and processing.
The project addresses the growing market need for effective, safer, and more sustainable hygiene solutions in food-related environments. A key strength of the project is that the products are supported by regulatory compliance and registration frameworks in Saudi Arabia, including SASO and SFDA, which strengthens credibility and market readiness. Our vision is to build a Saudi innovation-driven brand that combines performance, safety, and sustainability in one scalable business model.
Problem the Project Solves
The project addresses the strong dependence on conventional cleaning and disinfection products that may be harsh in use and less aligned with modern safety and sustainability expectations. Food-related environments need solutions that are effective, practical, and safer for both users and operations.
In addition, the food sector does not need one general product for every application. Food-contact surfaces, fresh produce, and raw poultry each involve different contamination risks and operational needs. This creates a clear demand for specialized products that are designed for each specific use.
